Chosen to challenge and inspire, move and to shake, your book choice will be selected from a wide and wonderfully diverse range of authors from home and abroad, then delivered in beautiful and sustainable packaging straight to you.
Our selection is personally curated so before we select your first book you'll receive a link to our questionnaire so we can get a feel for what sort of books would work best for you. We do suggest browsing our range online prior to purchasing to check that our range is of interest to you.
All books will be a selected new release and shipped as your monthly subscription rolls over.
We count a new release as anything still in it’s first trade release format, if you read a lot of new releases we ask that you keep us in the loop to avoid doubling up (exchanges available at your shipping cost).

This is the perfect option if you haven't been a big reader in the past and are wanting to dip your toes in the water. We recommend this option if you haven't read a lot.
We count back catalogue as anything that has moved on from its original release.
All books will be a selected from our back catalogue of b formats and last chance trade paperbacks and shipped as your monthly subscription rolls over.

On checkout:
- Add the intended physical address you wish the subscription to go
- Use your email address so the gift recipient isn't contacted until you're ready to send (note if you aren’t too sure on what details to add, these can easily be changed at anytime).
There is a couple of ways to physically gift the subscription too. Either we can choose the first book together so you can gift this with the Q+A to be returned to us later, or we can wait until the returned Q+A has been answered to start sending books.
Keep in mind that your subscription will start rolling over every 30 days from the date of purchase, however there is no rush to return the Q+A and we will happily send a couple of choices at once.
Once purchased and before we select your first book we ask that you answer a few questions via our questionnaire. Keeping in mind the more thorough your answers the easier it is for us to get a feel for what sort of books would work best for you.

All prices are displayed above. If you pay in full the total price includes shipping costs for every month, this is a one off charge and you will not be charged again after the subscription ends. If you pay monthly your card will be charged every 30 days. Price is above + $8 shipping. For pay monthly subscriptions you can cancel at anytime.

As these orders are personalised, and therefore more time consuming to process, we ask that you are patient while we work our way through these. Your subscription will renew every 30 days and we will process all the subscriptions that have rolled over in fortnightly batches.
Rural customers: Please note when selecting the 'paid in full' option instead of 'pay monthly' we are unable to specify between standard and rural shipping with this option. If you have a rural address you will be contacted to make up the shortfall of shipping cost of $30. Standard shipping is included in the price for all other customers.
If you do get sent a book you already have then it is no worries to exchange this, but note there will be extra postage fees involved.
Book subscriptions paid in full are non refundable.
Books subscriptions paid monthly option can be cancelled anytime.

Simply choose the best option for you, once you have placed your purchase you'll receive a link to our questionnaire to fill out so we can get the jist of all your preferences. Once we have all the info we will start sending you your surprise books. Your subscription will renew every 30 days. We process all the subscriptions that have rolled over in fortnightly batches.
You can choose between receiving a new release or back catalogue book monthly, paying in full or billing every 30 days, and whether you would like to sign on for 6 or 12 months. With our pay monthly options you can cancel at anytime.
Absolutely! We want to know what you would like to receive. The more information the better. We also check to see what you don’t want to receive, or if you have any triggers we are best to avoid. You can also let us know if you are just happy to go along for the ride, and willing to receive anything. We are here to tailor this experience to you.
Yes, if you need to take a break for any reason you can pause your subscription to start again at a future date. With our pay monthly options you can cancel at anytime.
Yes you absolutely can! We recommend adding the intended physical address you wish the subscription to go to and then depending on how you wish to gift the subscription adding your own email for the initial contact. Don’t stress too much if you aren’t too sure on what details to add, these can easily be changed at anytime. There is a couple of ways to physically gift the subscription too. Either we can choose the first book together so you can gift this with the Q+A to be returned to us later, or we can wait until the Q+A has been answered to start sending books. Keep in mind that your subscription will start rolling over every 30 days from the date of purchase, however there is no rush to fill out the Q+A and we will happily send a couple of choices at once.
We are always happy to exchange any of your choices but there will be extra shipping fees involved, or we wait until your next subscription rolls over and send out a double book month. We also ask for a run down on your recent reads and favourite books in our Q+A which helps us to know what titles to steer clear of. We do advise that if you are an avid book worm that the new release subscription is a safer option to avoid receiving any double ups.
